Thanks to @Guillaume’s patient support I’ve now got the hang of converting pretrained Opus-MT models to CTranslate2. Some of these models definitely need fine-tuning but the Ukrainian<>English models are quite good as they stand, and the speed improvement resulting from the conversion is quite noticeable particularly as I’m using an old ThinkServer in the corner of my little office. I’ve put these Ukrainian<>English models on my free translation site at http://nmtgateway.com.
