AI Grant is a non-profit AI research lab run by Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross. They fund promising people around the world working on AI. You fill out an application online, and if you’re selected you get:
- $2,500 in cash
- $20,000 in Google Compute Engine credits
- CrowdFlower and ScaleAPI data labeling credits
- A network of other AI Grant Fellows
The program is open to everyone. There are no strings attached (e.g. they don’t own any of the IP you produce). The money is a gift. They have just started to accept applications for the 3.0 batch! Applications are due in 9 days on April 14th.
